Harris`s Hawk (Parabuteo unicinctus)

Order: BIRDS OF PREY (ACCIPITRIFORMES ORDER)
Family: KITES, EAGLES AND HAWKS (ACCIPITRIDAE)

Included in ABA Region.

Saw them perching in road side poles and city parks, usually open land habitat, . Seen noon till end of day, can be seen perched and flying as well. , Not shy, can be approached slowly, they are used to urbanized areas, The only raptor that responded to calls.
