Cooper`s Hawk (Accipiter cooperii)

Order: BIRDS OF PREY (ACCIPITRIFORMES ORDER)
Family: KITES, EAGLES AND HAWKS (ACCIPITRIDAE)

Included in ABA Region.

This hawk usually fly low looking for small rodents and birds, I saw them in city parks perching in low tree branches, Hawk migration spots are best places to see them.. Morning is best time to see them perching before they start looking for food. Can be tricky to spot them, but once spotted, they are approachable, , Raptors usually do not respond to calls.
