White-tailed Hawk (Geranoaetus albicaudatus)

Family: KITES, EAGLES AND HAWKS (ACCIPITRIDAE)

Included in ABA Region.

Found on highway sides in open spaces and farm lands, . Active from noon till end of day, can be seen perched and flying as well. , Not shy, can be approached slowly, they are used to urbanized areas, Rarely had a raptor respond to calls.
