American Black Vulture (Coragyps atratus)

Family: VULTURES (CATHARTIDAE)

Included in ABA Region.


They are common in their range, easily spotted flying high, Sometimes can be seen in streets munching on roadkill. Vultures are seen perched at morning and dusk, but more likely to be seen flying high during the day. , These guys are more aggressive than other Vultures, they are easy to approach and photograph, Vultures rarely calls, feels like almost silent birds.
